M&M Insurance Agency has been in business in Du Quoin, IL since 1967 and incorporated in 1992 changing the name to M&M Insurance Agency, Inc. The agency has had three principals; Robert Havens, Molly Newman and Joel Tolliver, all who were involved full time in the insurance business since 1992 until May 32, 2023 when Molly Newman and Joel Tolliver retired and Susan Davis purchased their stock shares and book of business. Susan Davis who has been a long serving dedicated agency manager with over 10 years’ experience working exclusively with Molly Newman and Joel Tolliver’s book of business. M&M Insurance Agency, Inc. is licensed in 16 states and is a stockholder and member of Associated Risk Managers of IL, Inc. (ARM of IL, Inc.) The agency has contracts with Erie Insurance Company, Hartford, Employers, Liberty Mutual, Progressive and Blue Cross Blue Shield. The agency book of business is comprised of sixty-five percent commercial insurance and thirtyfive percent personal insurance with approximately $3.6 million. In addition, M&M Insurance Agency, Inc. is the second largest producer for Prairie State Insurance Cooperative. The Co-Op insures over 200 school K-12 districts with M&M Insurance Agency writing 37 districts. The agency has served on various counsels including Agency Advisory Council for both Columbia Insurance Group and Madison Mutual Insurance Company.
